Summary
I interned with the PROS Design team, focusing on improving usage tracking for Fortune 500 clients. This was a highly collaborative project where I worked closely with my mentor and the PROS PM team. Additionally, we worked closely with various clients to gather feedback on usability and design.

Outcomes
Positive feedback from Honeywell
While my tenure ended before full implementation, I presented designs to Honeywell, securing positive feedback and stakeholder alignment for the next phase.
Ensuring smooth engineering handoff
I delivered a functional prototype that served as the source of truth for engineering, effectively translating our design requirements into actionable development specifications.
Learnings
Navigating team dynamics
This was my first opportunity to integrate into an established design team. I learned that "doing the work" is only half the battle; the other half is knowing how to ask the right questions, solicit meaningful feedback, and advocate for support when needed.
The importance of precision
Moving from conceptual side projects to a product driving millions in revenue shifted my perspective on detail. I learned that when the stakes are higher, every design choice must be intentional.
Strategic prioritization
In a live environment with endless potential improvements, I learned the importance of focus. Our team adopted the mantra "work slow to work fast"—taking the time to align on the right problem before sprinting toward a solution ensures we don't waste time on the wrong things.
We worked incredibly closely with PMs + Engineers throughout this project to brainstorm and iterate on client feedback.
